This position requires a MS in Civil or Structural Engineering. Candidates must possess engineering experience in advanced bridge design and construction, and must have a PE license and 10 – 15 years progressive experience.
 
Technical and Project Management
This candidate will need to have managed major bridge engineering projects, primarily using segmental, concrete, or steel construction and incorporating American and International Design Standards. Proficient in detailed bridge design and construction engineering, using advanced structural analysis software. Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys and designs; completes drawings, specifications; reviews submittals and provides technical guidance to CADD Technicians and Senior Engineers. Ensures all goals and milestones are met or exceeded. Works with managers and project engineers to develop budgets, schedules and plans, establishing project requirements and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
 
In addition to these skills, we would like to see increasing maturity and soundness of judgment in decision-making and in anticipating and solving project-related problems; full understanding of, and consistent use of, in-house project management tools; extensive project scheduling techniques; mentoring of less experienced project managers and the ability to successfully delegate project responsibilities to other staff.
 
Business Development/Marketing
This person will be responsible for developing leads, developing and maintaining contacts within the field, converting current projects into follow-on projects, bringing in new work, writing proposals, participating in proposal presentations, negotiating contracts, writing articles and/or making conference presentations, and tracking and interpreting legislative and regulatory requirements.
This position requires a MS in Civil or Structural Engineering and 5 – 10 years engineering experience in advanced bridge design and construction with a Professional Engineering License. This position requires the following skills: worked on major bridge engineering projects, primarily using segmental, concrete, or steel construction and incorporating American and International Design Standards. Proficient in detailed bridge design and construction engineering, using advanced structural analysis software. Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys and designs; completes drawings, specifications. Reviews submittals. Supports the Project Manager in task management assignments and provides technical guidance to CADD Designers and junior Engineers.
 
This position requires a MS in Civil or Structural Engineering. Candidates must possess engineering experience in advanced bridge design and construction, and must have a Professional Engineering License and 10-12 years of experience. This position requires the following skills: technical and project management on major bridge engineering projects, primarily using segmental, concrete, or steel construction incorporating American and International Design Standards. Proficient in detailed bridge design and construction engineering, using advanced structural analysis software. Will be responsible for project budgets, schedules, subcontractor oversight and client relations. Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys and designs; completes drawings, specifications. Must have ability to manage staff, make assignments, review submittals and execute the project requirements, balancing excellent design with the business of engineering. Proven ability to manage projects, excellent written and oral communication skills and comprehensive knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required. Provides technical guidance to CADD Technicians and junior Engineers.
