We currently have the following openings at FINLEY Engineering Group:
This position requires a Licensed Professional Engineer with a MS in Civil or Structural Engineering and a minimum of 2 years engineering experience in complex bridge design and construction engineering using post-tensioning concrete and/or steel.
- Will be responsible for preparing engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys and designs, completing drawings and specifications and reviewing submittals.
- Will support the Project Manager in task management assignments and provide technical guidance to CADD Designers and junior Engineers.
- Must have worked on major bridge engineering projects.
- Must be proficient in detailed bridge design and construction engineering, using advanced structural analysis software.
- Experience desired in technical and project management on major bridge engineering projects using segmental concrete or steel box girder construction techniques, utilizing American and International Design Standards and advanced structural analysis software.
- Candidates with Military experience are encouraged to apply.
This position requires a Licensed Professional Engineer with 8-10 years experience in complex bridge design and construction engineering using post-tensioning concrete and/or steel.
- Will be responsible for project budgets, schedules, subcontractor oversight, client relations and providing technical guidance to CADD Technicians and junior Engineers.
- Must have experience managing staff, making assignments, reviewing submittals and executing project requirements.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comprehensive knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
- Experience desired in technical and project management on major bridge engineering projects using segmental concrete or steel box girder construction techniques, utilizing American and International Design Standards and advanced structural analysis software.
- MS in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred.
- Candidates with Military experience are encouraged to apply.
This position requires 2-year technical degree or certificate of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent), as well as 4 years of relevant experience. Will work closely with other CADD technicians, as well as Bridge Design Engineers.
- Applicant must know reinforced concrete and structural steel detailing.
- Post-tensioning experience is preferred. Must be proficient in Microstation and be able to prepare difficult and complex layout and design drawings utilizing theoretical and practical design knowledge and interpret and ensure conformance to applicable standards and codes, as well as company policies and procedures.
This position requires a 2-year technical degree or certificate of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent) and/or 2 years of relevant bridge detailing experience. Experience in MicroStation is preferred.
